Company information & important conditions
Summarized from official documentation. These facts are separate from our editorial assessment.
Company and location
Apex Trader Funding Inc. was founded in 2021 by Darrell Martin and is based in Austin, Texas. It focuses on futures evaluations. Apex describes its services as simulated trading programs and states that it is not a broker-dealer, futures commission merchant or financial adviser.

Current account types
The current catalog covers 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K Intraday and EOD evaluations. Standard plans charge a separate PA activation fee; No Activation Fee plans include activation after qualifying. Both pricing paths follow the same rules for their drawdown model.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Simulated funding
Passing an evaluation qualifies the trader for a simulated Performance Account of the same size and drawdown type. The displayed account size is a simulated balance, not cash provided to withdraw. Approved rewards are subject to account and payout requirements.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
One-time fees and access period
Current evaluations have a one-time purchase fee, 30 calendar days of access and no automatic rebill. They cannot be reset. Failed or expired evaluations require a new purchase; they are not ongoing monthly subscriptions.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Activation after passing
A corresponding Performance Account must be activated within seven calendar days after passing. Standard Intraday currently lists a $59 activation fee and Standard EOD $90. No Activation Fee evaluations set that charge to $0 but still require successful qualification and activation.

Evaluation targets and limits
Targets are $1,500 / $3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000 for 25K / 50K / 100K / 150K. Maximum drawdown allowances are $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,000. Evaluations have no consistency requirement and may be passed in one trading day.

Intraday drawdown
The Intraday threshold follows the highest account balance in real time, including unrealized gains, and never moves downward. Touching the threshold fails the evaluation. There is no separate daily loss limit during the Intraday evaluation.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
EOD drawdown and daily limits
The EOD threshold is calculated from the end-of-day balance and enforced during the following session, including intraday. Touching it fails the evaluation. EOD evaluations also have a fixed session loss limit of $500 / $1,000 / $1,500 / $2,000 by size.

Performance Account scaling
EOD Performance Accounts use tier-based contract sizing and daily loss limits. Their maximum mini-contract caps are 2 / 4 / 6 / 10 by size, rather than the larger evaluation limits. A drawdown breach permanently closes the PA.

Payout share and consistency
Current EOD and Intraday PAs pay 100% of approved reward amounts. Their payout articles require no single profitable day to represent 50% or more of profits since the last approved payout. Passing an evaluation does not remove this funded-stage consistency requirement.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Qualifying payout days
Five qualifying trading days are required, not necessarily consecutive. Intraday daily net-profit thresholds are $100 / $200 / $250 / $300 by size; EOD thresholds are $100 / $250 / $300 / $350. Completing five calendar days alone is insufficient.

Safety net and minimum withdrawal
The lifetime safety net is the drawdown allowance plus $100 above starting balance. The minimum payout is $500. Minimum balances to request it are $26,600 / $52,600 / $103,600 / $154,600. Only eligible profits above the safety net can be requested.

Payout caps and account closure
Current PAs allow at most six approved payouts and close after the sixth. Caps vary by account size, payout number and drawdown type. Each challenge page lists its six caps in sequence. These rules are different from legacy payout rules.

Payout methods
US payouts use ACH to a US bank account; eligible international payouts use Plane. The bank account must belong to the trader. The generic payment-method article also contains older eight-day eligibility wording; current-plan eligibility here follows the specific EOD and Intraday payout articles.

Eligibility and identity
The US is supported. Apex checks identity, residence and payment details, and restricts access from listed countries. Trading, new purchases and payout requests are unavailable while in a restricted country. Payment instruments from restricted countries are also prohibited.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Accounts and trading conduct
A combined maximum of 20 active Performance Accounts applies across current and legacy types per household. Separate accounts are not permission to hedge against each other. Account sharing, copying other traders, automated execution and simulation exploitation are prohibited.

Five-account bundles
Selected configurations offer five independent evaluations purchased together. All five begin their 30-day access period at purchase, not when first traded. Standard bundles are available at all four sizes; EOD No Activation Fee bundles are offered only at 25K and 50K. Bundle totals are listed under offers, not mixed into single-account prices.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Legacy plans are separate
Apex’s current sales page advertises a limited-time return of six legacy sizes on three vendors, with monthly billing. Its legacy overview still says sales ended on March 1, 2026. Because of that documentation conflict, this catalog lists the current EOD and Intraday products only. Legacy prices and rules are not silently applied to those plans.

Price verification
All 16 single-account prices and 14 available bundle totals were checked in the official product selector. Displayed coupon prices use SAVENOW. The US signup flow requires account registration before a checkout total, so tax, final charged totals and successful coupon redemption were not verified.
