Company information & important conditions
Summarized from official documentation. These facts are separate from our editorial assessment.
Company and trading environment
Founded in 2015 with offices in Prague, Czech Republic. FTMO evaluations and reward accounts use simulated capital. FTMO Futures may invite selected traders to live accounts at its discretion; passing an evaluation does not guarantee a live account.

US operator and regional scope
FTMO US is a separate offering: JV Prop Corporation provides the evaluation and OANDA Prop US Corporation provides the Rewards Account. These services are simulated and are not covered by the regulatory protections of an OANDA Corporation brokerage account.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Eligibility in the United States
FTMO US requires age 18+, US residency or an eligible US entity, a US tax identification number and proof of ownership of an eligible US bank account. A W-9 is required before the first reward. The official page excludes Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana and South Carolina; review eligibility before ordering.

Futures eligibility
Futures accepts natural persons only and excludes residents of Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana and South Carolina. US payout requirements include a tax identification number, W-9 and eligible US bank account. Non-US country restrictions differ from the CFD offering.

Account currency and pricing
The listed forex/simulated-asset challenges are FTMO US prices in USD, not conversions of the global euro price list. We checked public product tables. Checkout requires sign-in and was not verified. Only the quoted standard size configurations are priced; optional configurations are not assumed to cost the same.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Trading platforms
US forex and simulated assets: MetaTrader 5 or TradingView. FTMO Futures: NinjaTrader, Tradovate or TradingView. FTMO Global also lists MT4 and cTrader; those platforms are not presented here as available to US CFD customers.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
US simulated instruments
The US FAQ lists 42 simulated forex pairs plus three US indices, gold, crude oil and BTCUSD. Exposure limits vary by instrument. Rollover simulated contracts have no fixed expiration; overnight financing may apply.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Swing account option
Swing relaxes news and overnight/weekend restrictions and has lower leverage. Select it during configuration: an existing Standard account cannot be switched to Swing. Global FTMO documents Swing for 2-Step only. A separate US Swing checkout price has not been verified, so it is not duplicated as a priced program.

US challenge fees and refunds
US evaluation fees are one-time payments. The 2-Step fee is reimbursed with the first eligible Rewards Account withdrawal; the 1-Step fee is not reimbursed. This differs from the recurring futures subscription.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
US payment methods
The official US FAQ lists debit/credit cards and PayPal. Global payment options such as cryptocurrency or Skrill are not assumed available to US buyers.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
US reward requests
Rewards can be requested after a minimum of 14 days from the first trading day, with the account in profit and no open positions or pending orders. Review and post-invoice processing are each typically 1–2 business days. The US FAQ lists Revolut bank wires and a $20 closed-profit minimum to cover transfer fees.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Reward share by program
The dedicated US 1-Step product page advertises 90%. The US reward FAQ describes 80%, increasing to 90% under qualifying scaling or premium conditions, without clearly separating products. We apply that baseline to 2-Step and retain the specific 1-Step product-page figure rather than label every account 90%.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Futures subscription and resets
Growth and Pro evaluation fees renew monthly until cancellation or the evaluation is confirmed as passed. There is no activation fee and no subscription on Sim-Funded or Live Funded accounts. Optional paid resets vary by plan and size. Cancellation stops future renewals but preserves access for the paid period.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Futures payout conditions
Growth and Pro pay a 90% share, with qualifying-day requirements and caps that depend on size. Growth allows withdrawal of 50% of available profit; Pro allows 100% subject to drawdown constraints. At least 50% of each request must be newly earned profit in that cycle. The minimum payout is $20.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Futures payout methods
The futures FAQ lists Wise, Revolut bank wire and Visa Direct/Mastercard Send. Mastercard Send is unavailable to US clients. US bank ownership and W-9 requirements still apply; listed global transfer options do not override US eligibility rules.
Official source · Checked 2026-09-28
Futures market data and account limits
Level 1 live market data is included. Level 2 Depth of Market cannot be purchased within the trading platform using FTMO credentials. Up to three Sim-Funded accounts are allowed across Growth and Pro.
